Cases for Medieval Bibles

In 2005 the Abbey’s Medieval bibles were housed in cabinets constructed to be protective while allowing the pages to be clearly seen.

More recently in 2019 we have commissioned modifications to the Bible display cases, lowering the trays to allow the bibles to be displayed better and to provide more clearance when they are removed for page turning, upgrading to LED lighting which is cooler and stays on longer,re-veneering the front panels and adding protective kickboards.
